Dr. Wineland
Dr. Wineland grew up in Grimes, Iowa, where his days were filled with sports like basketball, soccer, and football. In 2009, he graduated from Dallas Center-Grimes High School as a salutatorian. He then went on to pursue his passion for biology and continue playing soccer at Morningside College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2013. After that, Dr. Wineland attended dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Lincoln, NE, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2018.
Dedicated to improving others’ lives, Dr. Wineland finds joy in his career as it allows him to see the positive impact of the skills he’s learned along his journey on his patients' teeth and overall quality of life. The most fulfilling aspect of his work is seeing the results of his work in the smiles of his patients and forming relationships with families that span generations.
Dr. Wineland and his wife, Brianna, love spending time with their three kids, watching tennis and soccer matches, or staying active in their community in Sioux City. Although a Nebraska graduate, he’s loyal to his Iowa roots—cheering for the Hawkeyes every chance he gets!
